In his fourth book reading with the Fairfax County Library system this month, local author Alan Rems will discuss his new book, South Pacific Cauldron: World War II’s Great Forgotten Battlegrounds. Based on the book’s inside flap, his publication “is the first complete history embracing all land, sea, and air operations in this critically important sector of the oceanic conflict.
