Rigoberto González is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry and prose, including his memoir Butterfly Boy: Memories of a Chicano Mariposa and the short story collection Men without Bliss. His most recent publications include the poetry collection Unpeopled Eden. He is currently an associate professor of English at Rutgers University–Newark he serves on the board of directors of the National Book Critics Circle.
